Dr. Timothy Hui was born and raised in Sacramento, California. He completed his undergraduate degree at Stanford University in 2006 and then attended University of California, Davis Veterinary School, finishing in 2010. He then completed a rotating internship at Veterinary Medical and Surgical Group (VMSG) in Ventura, CA followed by an internal medicine specialty internship at Animal Specialty Group (ASG) in Glendale, CA.
After spending all his life in California, he decided to branch out by traveling east to Purdue University, completing a residency and becoming board certified in Internal Medicine. He has several publications and received multiple awards for both research presentations and excellence in teaching. Dr. Hui has a particular interest in endocrine, gastrointestinal, and hematological diseases. Dr. Hui enjoyed living in the Midwest so much, he decided to join VCA AVCC. On his days off, he enjoys working out, hiking, and spending time with his son and his dog, Lettuce.
