Dr. Brittany Allen joined the VCA Airport Irvine team in July 2023. She received her bachelor's degree in animal science from California State Polytechnic University, Pomona in 2017. Dr. Allen then proceeded to receive her veterinary degree from Ohio State University in 2023.

The most enjoyable thing about veterinary medicine for Dr. Allen is that she gets to do some detective work in finding the different possible diagnostics. Her special interests within the veterinary medicine field include feline medicine, pathology and internal medicine. Dr. Allen loves being able to educate and share her knowledge with her clients about their babies.

She has two adorable cats: a black cat named Salem and a tuxedo cat named Oscar. Some of Dr. Allen's special interests outside of work include spending time with her two fur babies. She loves exploring antique stores as well. Dr. Allen very much enjoys reading and hopes to one day to have her own mini library.
