Mexican American born and raised in Orange County, growing up, Lupita's family would spend every summer and two weeks out of the month of January in Jalisco, Mexico, with her paternal's side of the family. Lupita spent time at her family's ranch with a lot of livestock. Out of high school she lived in Jalisco a short time but then came back to Northern California. She came back to Orange County when her dad was ill.
In 2007, Lupita felt very lucky to find a job working for Dr. Scherer and his family at his own animal hospital in Fountain Valley. She began just filing files, worked her way up to kennel attendant, receptionist, (non-licensed) technician, surgery technician and lastly after 10 years, she left as management when Dr. Scherer retired. Dr. Scherer came out of retirement momentarily to help Dr. Radovich at Airport Irvine and that is where she followed. Lupita has been with VCA AIAH for almost eight years now, also dabbling in all departments.
Lupita's interested range from music, concerts, photography, tattoos and her love for animals. She enjoys time fishing, camping and spending family time.
