Dr. Gwen Rutkowski Trisler received her doctorate from Louisiana State University School of Veterinary Medicine in 1999, after completing her undergraduate studies at Northwestern State University in Natchitoches and the University of Southern Mississippi in Hattiesburg. A native of St. Francisville, she practiced veterinary medicine in the Felicianas and surrounding areas before coming to VCA All Pets Animal Hospital. She has a special interest in internal and geriatric medicine as well as surgery, and her favorite aspect of being a veterinarian is being able to foster the human-animal bond. In her time outside of practice, Dr. Trisler enjoys family time spent with her husband and their children, gardening, photography and birding
