Dr. Angela Hope joined VCA Amherst Animal Hospital (formerly Amherst Veterinary Hospital) in the summer of 2004. A native of Louisiana, Dr. Hope received her undergraduate degree in Biology and Chemistry from Centenary College in Shreveport, and continued at Louisiana State University where she received her Degree in Veterinary Medicine in 1993.

Dr. Hope has been interested in working with animals her entire life, and she thinks that it is impossible to imagine any other work she would want to do. At home, her life is shared with a wide variety of animals. Dr. Hope believes that VCA Amherst Animal Hospital goes the extra mile in providing patient care, diagnosis and treatment. She believes that all the animals are given the best of care, whether it is a show dog, or a child's pet mouse. We all join Dr. Hope in this sentiment, and glad she is a part of VCA AAH!
