Hello, my name is Heather! I recently moved to Texas in November 2018 from San Diego, CA. My husband's job transferred him to the Dallas area. I was born and raised in Delaware, OH. When I was 18, I joined the United States Navy and was stationed on the USS. Nimitz in San Diego, CA, where I met my husband. Both my husband and I are bleeding hearts and love animals of every kind. Naturally of course, we have quite the crew because of this love! I have 2 wonderful kids, 4 cats, a dog, a rabbit, and a tortoise. I worked at an emergency specialty animal hospital in California and am specialized in critical care. I have been working in veterinary medicine for almost 4 years and this is a new career for me that I hope to make the most of. I have an Associate's degree in Animal Science and Graduated from the PIMA Medical institute Veterinary Assistant and Technician program in 2017. I love taking care of all animals and hope to continue to grow and learn new things at VCA Angel Animal Hospital.
