Dr. Boone grew up on the north side of Indianapolis. He attended Purdue University for his undergraduate education, graduating in 2013 with a bachelor's degree in chemistry. He then spent several years in Ann Arbor, Michigan, where he obtained a master's degree in chemistry in 2015 and began working in veterinary clinics as an assistant. During his time in Michigan, he found his true passion in veterinary medicine and decided to return to Purdue University to train as a veterinarian. Dr. Boone graduated from Purdue for the second time with his DVM in 2020. During his clinical year, Dr. Boone was awarded the ACVIM certificate of clinical excellence along with the Veterinary Cancer Society award for proficiency in clinical oncology. Dr. Boone began his career working in emergency medicine before joining the VCA Animal Hospital of Plainfield team in 2021. Outside of the clinic, Dr. Boone enjoys live music, exploring new breweries and restaurants, playing golf and reading books. He is the proud owner of two cats, Zeke and Willy, who have been with him throughout graduate and veterinary school.
