Shannon describes herself as a "military brat". She was born in Northern Michigan and lived in Kentucky, Japan, Virginia, Alaska, Alabama, and Japan again. Shannon started working at our clinic in 1996, while attending college. She has been a licensed technician since 2000. She is also a Fear Free Certified Elite and she has special interest in surgery and behavior. She says, "This is what I was born to do! I like being able to help those that cannot help themselves." Shannon enjoys reading, horseback riding, kayaking, camping, hiking, fishing, gardening, and training her dogs. She has 2 horses, 6 dogs, 3 cats, ferrets, chickens, goldfish, and some barn cats. She says, "I have years and years of experience. I have a small case of OCD that really helps me keep organized and methodical in how I work."
