Kim grew up in Staten Island, NY, and started her grooming career in 1982. She was trained by an AKC Judge and went on to receive her CMG (Certified Master Groom) in 1983, beginning her career grooming show dogs. Kim owns an Afghan Hound named 'Hippie Chick' who has been her working service dog for 10 years plus. She is currently training her new Afghan Hound, Utakke, to be her next service dog. Kim has spent her entire life working with animals, grooming for 40 years and as an AKC Accredited Trainer for 30 of those years. She hopes to spend many more years doing the same!
