Dr. Mackley graduated veterinary school at the University of Tennessee. She then went on to complete an internship in small animal emergency medicine, internal medicine and surgery in Mesa Arizona. After practicing small animal emergency for a few years in Washington, she began practicing general medicine. Her areas of interest include emergency medicine, soft tissue surgery, fear free gentle handling techniques, and pain management.

Dr. Mackley is married and has a daughter and two stepsons. Outside of work her interests include camping, motorcycle riding, cooking and travel.
