Alex has been an animal lover her whole life. She grew up locally and went to the Veterinary Technician Institute in Pittsburgh after high school, where she earned her degree in veterinary technology.

Alex has been working at VCA Bakerstown since March of 2021, but has been in the field since 2017.  

Alex's favorite part of her job is being an advocate for animals and helping educate owners. She is helping make visits more relaxing for our feline friends. She also has a special interest in wildlife, feline medicine and is becoming feline friendly certified. 

In Alex's free time she enjoys being out in nature with her family and friends. Where she can kayak and fish.
