Team Spotlight
Dr. Susan McConnell has called the Lynchburg area home for over 30 years. She began practicing veterinary medicine in Madison Heights in 1987, but has been with VCA Boonsboro (originally Boonsboro Animal Hospital)since 2004. She enjoys all aspects of veterinary medicine and considers kitty head butts and wet dogs kisses major on–the-job perks. When she is not at work she enjoys time with her husband, Mike, their two daughters, and the animal friends that share their home. Fostering bottle fed kittens for the local humane society, and scuba diving are two of her favorite extracurricular activities.
Why I "do...
Kelly is from Boonsboro and lived in the area most of her life, she started out with us as a veterinary assistant and is now our hospital manager. She has worked in the veterinary field for 6 years prior to joining our team. When she isn't at work, she enjoys spending time with her husband, daughter and their two chocolate labs, Fatty and Jackson. She enjoys camping, fishing, floating the river and hiking! She is extremely happy to be a part of the team we have at VCA Boonsboro!
