Ricardo has always enjoyed being in the presence of and helping assist animals of all kinds. Toward the end of his schooling, he knew that he needed to pursue a career in the veterinary field, which is why he has been working with pets for the last six years.

"I can't imagine doing anything else. I feel complete when a dog, cat, or any other animal gives you a look as if to say, 'Thank you for what you are doing.'"
