Dr. Nick was born in London, England, grew up in Montreal, Canada, and has lived in the USA for the last 15 years. He obtained his first degree at Concordia University in Montreal after which he worked in the pharmaceutical industry in Clinical Research. He then attended the Ontario Veterinary College at the University of Guelph, Ontario, Canada graduating in 1998 with a Doctor of Veterinary Medicine. He then completed a rotating internship in small animal medicine and surgery at the Metropolitan Veterinary Hospital in Akron, Ohio.
Nick practiced general medicine in MA and NH for four years, before joining CAVES in 2003 to fulfill his special interest in emergency medicine. He has two children, Allison and Anna, and an English Setter named George. Outside of veterinary medicine, Nick enjoys golf, skiing, tennis, soccer, running and travel.
