Ed has been a fixture at CVC for more than a decade. Prior to that, he worked in retail food as well as at Sears, Litton and Teledyne (in security). He proudly served in the Marines from 1982-1987. And here’s something that you’ll NEVER hear from the quiet, modest Ed: Lance Corporal Hutton received the Marines’ Meritorious Mast award for heroism.
Ed’s favorite part of working at VCA CVC is getting to be around the pets. Ed’s own pet family includes Tammy, a Maltese mix about nine-years old. HE rescued her at an intersection, after she was almost hit. He also has a pair of elderly (nearly fourteen-years old) longhair, feline brothers: Tiger (striped) and Timmy (black & white).
Ed writes plays and short stories – often works of science fiction. AND he is now creating a fictional work based on Marine actual involvement in the Civil War.
