Karaline Tripp is a graduate of Cornell University and earned her Doctorate of Veterinary Medicine in 2012. While her husband was finishing his PhD and teaching at Cornell University, she worked for 8 years as a general practitioner at a private, small animal practice near Binghamton, NY. She joined Colonial Animal Hospital in 2020. She is glad to be back in the Ithaca area. 

Her special interests are soft tissue surgery, preventive medicine and strengthening each pet's and family's human-animal bond. 

She lives south of Ithaca with her husband and young daughter and currently has a single dog and cat. Her interests in her free time include cooking, reading, crafting, hiking, house improvements, and working on her hairstick business with her mother.
