Dr. Paul (Og) Belnap is from Bountiful, Utah, and grew up playing competitive soccer and basketball, fly fishing, skiing (snow and water), wake boarding, snowboarding, riding horses, camping, golfing and playing the piano. He graduated from Brigham Young University with a bachelor of science degree in Biology and a minor degree chemistry. He attended veterinary school at the Texas A&M College of Veterinary Medicine & Biomedical Sciences (Gig 'em Aggies!) where he graduated and earned his Doctor of Veterinary Medicine. Dr. Belnap practiced veterinary medicine in Texas before moving back to Utah with his wife, Madison, their children, Lily, Charlotte, and James, and their rescued miniature dachshunds, Maple and Josephine.
Dr. Belnap is dedicated to the ethical and compassionate treatment of companion animals and desires to provide the best possible care to all of his patients. His areas of special interest include ultrasound and advanced imaging to better diagnose and treat his patients and soft tissue surgery, where he enjoys seeing the immediate benefits of caring for his patients.
In his free time, Dr. Belnap enjoys spending time with his family and friends, playing soccer, basketball, tennis and pickleball, as well as watching college sports, golfing, skiing, fly fishing, riding horses and camping.
