Dr. McCabe is from Fairfield, Ohio. She grew up with a strong love for animals and she could always be found cuddling with the family dogs on the floor as a little girl. That love has continued to grow into a passion to help strengthen the human-animal bond by helping pet owners navigate the ups and downs of the lives of their four-legged family members. Dr. McCabe's passion lies in teaching pet owners about the importance of preventative medicine as well as geriatric care. She is dedicated to helping pets live long and happy and healthy lives with their pet owners.
Dr. McCabe attended Ross University School of Veterinary Medicine on the beautiful island of St. Kitts. She completed her clinical year at the University of Florida. After finishing veterinary school, Dr. McCabe went on to complete two equine internships, one in Oregon and the other in upstate New York. In 2012, she landed in Michigan where she planted her roots. She has been with VCA since 2018. Dr. McCabe also holds a master's degree in public health where she specialized in veterinary public health.
