Madison moved to Seattle from Michigan in 2012 to attend the University of Washington and graduated in 2016 with a bachelor's degree in Biology and a minor in Slavic Literature. In college, Madison worked with aquatic animals (marine and freshwater) as well as bees. She worked as a veterinary assistant in an exotic animal practice for several years before starting at VCA Crown Hill in the spring of 2018. Madison and her partner adopted their first dog, Mako, in September 2019. Mako is 75% hound mix. She would be 100%, but lost her rear left leg prior to her adoption. Regardless of her missing limbs, Mako is 100% adorable, and 100% loved.
