I have been a veterinary assistant with VCA Desert Dunes Animal Hospital for 8 years. I started here in 2009 when I was an intern through La Quinta High School Medical Health Academy. I enjoyed helping the sick and injured animals so much as an intern that I decided to make it my future. I earned an Associate of Applied Science degree in Veterinary Technology from Bel-Rea Institute in Colorado. I immediately applied to VCA Desert Dunes and have been part of the team ever since. Not-so-friendly cats are my favorite to handle. When I am not working, I enjoy concerts and eating! You can usually find me hanging out at home with my family, my dog, Lily, and 2 cats, Athena and Milo.
