Dr. Katheryn Kuchyt graduated from The Ohio State University College of Veterinary medicine where she was dual enrolled for her master's in veterinary public health and earned a certificate in Veterinary Business Management. Dr. Kuchyt has worked in mixed animal and emergency practices prior to joining VCA. She has special interest in small animal surgery, allergies and animal behavior. Her true passion and hobby is practicing large animal medicine.
Dr. Kuchyt is originally from Massachusetts and worked in both large and small animal clinics for 12 years prior to becoming a veterinarian. She and her husband, Todd, live on a farm in Lowell, Ohio with their three children, three dogs and menagerie of farm animals. In her free time she enjoys farming, gardening, cooking, canning, physical fitness, and traveling. Dr. Kuchyt also collects cattle painting, is a connoisseur of wine and her favorite color is lime green.
