Dr. Pego was born and raised in São Paulo, Brazil. She is a graduate of UNISA (Universidade de Santo Amaro) and got her Doctor diploma validated by ECFVG in the USA after moving with her family to the states. Dr. Pego is married and has 4 kids: a 2 year old daughter, Maia, and three four-legged felines, Ivy, Six and Key. She likes spending time with family and discovering new vegetarian/vegan dishes. Dr. Pego is also certified Cat Friendly Veterinarian.
