Dr. Alyson Baber graduated from University College Dublin, School of Veterinary Medicine in June of 2016. She attended Delaware Valley University for her undergraduate education and received a B.S. in Biology in May 2010. She began her veterinary career in equine sports medicine in Lexington, Kentucky, but made the switch to small animal medicine in 2020. She joined VCA Dunmore in May 2023.
Her current professional interests include internal medicine, endocrinology, dentistry, nutrition, and preventative care. Dr. Baber is passionate about client education.
Her pet family consists of a red Doberman named Helga, two chihuahuas, Emilio and Zita, and her retired horse, Chance.
Dr. Baber grew up in Lehman, Pennsylvania, with a small menagerie of pets and has been an avid equestrian since a young age. Becoming a veterinarian was the only career option for her. She finds fulfillment in improving pets' comfort and quality of life.
In her personal time, she enjoys thrifting, working on her 1850s farmhouse, long walks with Helga, hiking, and lifting weights.
