Dr. Lauren Kishimoto was born and raised in Aiea, Hawaii. She went to Colorado State University (2004), majoring in Environmental Health. After graduating from Colorado State University, College of Veterinary Medicine and Biomedical Sciences, Dr. Kishimoto practiced in the Southern California San Fernando Valley for 9 years. Eventually, she moved back to Hawaii and joined VCA Family & Oahu Veterinary Specialty Center, where she could be closer to her family.

Dr. Kishimoto's professional interests are Feline medicine, Ultrasound, Animal Behavior, and Dermatology. Her personal interests are learning about the world with her son. She has three pets: a dog (P-chan), and two cats (Crouton and Kuzco).
