Terra has always had a love of animals of all sizes since she was a little girl. She began competitively riding horses when she was seven years old. It was at the young age of 10 Terra decided she wanted to become a veterinarian and began volunteering at her aunt’s horse barn. In 2006, she started volunteering at the Rocky Mountain Greyhound Adoption Center. After high school she went to CSU, joined the pre-vet club and began volunteering with a variety of animals, her favorite being the Foal Care Team and a dairy goat farm. In 2015, Terra started working as a veterinary assistant. She graduated from CSU in the spring of 2016 with a degree in Biology. She moved back to Denver and started working with VCA Firehouse in the fall of 2016. Her next goal is to attend veterinary school at CSU. Terra loves all animals and has her own mini zoo with four dogs, three cats, one bird, and a lizard.
