Dr. Jay Stonefield joined VCA Flannery Animal Hospital in 1997. He received his Bachelor of Science in Animal Science from Cornell University in 1993, and his Doctor of veterinary Medicine from Cornell University’s College of Veterinary Medicine in 1997. Dr. Stonefield has a special interest in both soft tissue and laparoscopic surgery as well as weight management. He is a member of the American Animal Hospital Association, Hudson Valley Veterinary Medical Society, NYS Veterinary Medical Society, and American Veterinary Medical Association. His hobbies include snowboarding and tennis, and being an avid Yankees fan. When Dr. Stonefield is not working he enjoys spending time with his wife Christine, daughter Emma, and son Benjamin.
