Karina started working at Garden State Animal Hospital in 2005 while obtaining a nursing degree in human medicine. What was only thought to be a summer job turned into a very fulfilling career in veterinary medicine. She really enjoys how the veterinary field was able to combine her love for animals with the challenge of medicine. Karina likes to help in all areas of the hospital and is honored to be a part of the supervisor, surgical and inventory teams. During her free time, she loves spending time with her family, taking trips to the beach and exploring new restaurants.
