Deangela's career in veterinary medicine began 18 years ago with two Cavalier King Charles puppies. Those two puppies sparked a desire to learn and acquire all of the knowledge necessary to keep them healthy. Deangela's clinical experience began when she volunteered for an Army veterinarian in England, where after assisting the veterinarian with a neuter surgery, she was hooked! When she returned stateside, she began work in a large volume emergency, specialty, and wellness hospital where she spent nine years learning everything from nail trimming to blood transfusions during emergency surgery. She is a Penn Foster graduate and is a licensed in both Texas and Maryland. Deangela not only continues to grow her own knowledge, but in her role as technician supervisor, she encourages everyone to learn and enjoys sharing her knowledge so every patient receives world class care.
