Dr. Corcione is a native of New Jersey, but has resided in Peru, NY, since 2004. She is a 1998 graduate of The Ohio State University College of Veterinary Medicine. Prior to moving to the North Country, she practiced in New Jersey and Ohio.

Dr. Corcione enjoys all aspects of veterinary medicine but has a special interest in small mammal exotic species as well as birds and reptiles. In her spare time, she enjoys hiking, kayaking, cross country skiing and yoga.

Dr. Corcione shares her home with Jasper, a geriatric Jack Russell Terrier, as well as two cats (Olive and Puck) and a parakeet (Zephyr). She has two daughters, Josephine (14), who is entering high school this year, and Katerina (18), a freshman at Hamilton College.
