Andrea Clark, DVM, is proud to be a native Texan. She attended Texas A&M University for both undergraduate and veterinary school. Dr. Clark was accepted into veterinary school a year early, and she was awarded her B.S. in Biomedical Science by default after completing her first year of veterinary school.
After graduating from veterinary school, Dr. Clark completed a rotating internship at VCA Emergency Animal Hospital & Referral Center in San Diego, California. She then furthered her training by completing two years of a specialty internship in small animal surgery at Long Island Veterinary Specialists in Plainview, New York. Dr. Clark then completed a surgical residency at VCA West Coast in Fountain Valley, California.
Dr. Clark has authored papers that are published in both national and international journals. She has been a presenter at international veterinary surgical meetings, and has presented numerous lectures to veterinary specialists, local veterinarians, and veterinary students. Dr. Clark is also a member of numerous veterinary organizations.
In her free time, Dr. Clark enjoys spending time with her two Labrador retrievers. She loves being outdoors, and particularly enjoys the beach. She also enjoys cross-stitching and is a huge hockey fan.
