Dr. Allison Schroeder is originally from Southern California, where most of her family still resides. She has always had a deep love for all animals and grew up with many different types of pets, ranging from the typical dogs and cats to rabbits, rats, reptiles, birds, and horses. Dr. Schroeder graduated from Ross University School of Veterinary Medicine in 2013 after completing her clinical year at Cornell University in upstate New York. She is a preventative medicine enthusiast and enjoys educating her clients about the best ways to keep their pets healthy. Dr. Schroeder is also passionate about the mental and psychological wellbeing of her patients, striving to practice low-stress handling at all times in order to minimize fear and anxiety. She lives with her husband and four dogs; they all enjoy going for drives, walking in the woods, visiting family, and trips to the coast.
