Dr. Dan Severson is a Kailua native and attended Damien Memorial High School, and he's proud of it! He obtained his undergraduate degree from Bradley University and attended veterinary school at Colorado State University. He performed his residency at Cornell University College of Veterinary Medicine.

Dr. Severson joined VCA Kaneohe in 1997 and has a special interest and extensive experience in orthopedic surgery. His past experience includes a two-year internship at Darien Animal Hospital in Connecticut, three years at Cornell University, and six years at Companion Animal Hospital, formerly in Kailua.
