Hello! I am Dr. Victoria Stelter. I grew up in sunny Tampa, Florida. I received my Bachelor of Science in Animal Biology at the University of Florida and my Doctorate of Veterinary Medicine at the University of Minnesota. I fell in love with animals at a very early age. I grew up with cats, and a precious Cavalier King Charles Spaniel named Riley. In addition, I had (and still have) a great passion for horses. In high school I spent my weekends volunteering at a Therapeutic Riding Barn for handicapped children, and In undergrad I spent my summers working at a horse ranch in Estes Park, Colorado. 

I chose Veterinary Medicine because I love working with animals AND with people. My favorite part of being a vet is fostering and supporting the human animal bond. Animals have become much more than just pets, they are family. It is my pleasure to help families care for their loved ones, whether its preventing disease, treating disease, or facilitating end of life care. Helping people by helping their pets is my calling.  

My childhood goal was to become a veterinarian and move to Colorado. The mountains were calling me, and I made my dream come true!! I am very excited to be part of the leadership team at VCA Littleton, and help care for you and your pets.
