Emma grew up in Santa Cruz, California. She graduated from Wellesley College in 2019 with a BA in Biological Sciences. Emma joined the VCA Animal Hospital of Los Gatos team in 2019. What she enjoys most about working at VCA Los Gatos is learning from the registered veterinary technicians and the veterinarians, and getting to work with the animals that she love every day. Emma plans to go to veterinary school to become a veterinarian.

Outside of work, Emma has special interest in marine mammal conservation, marine mammal medicine, and wildlife rehab. She has two published scientific papers on fish biomechanics and locomotion. She also enjoys playing video games and the guitar. She likes pina coladas, and getting caught in the rain. Emma has two pets: a cat named Midnight, and a dog named Bella.
