Dr. Casey grew up in Marin County and began her history at VCA Madera Pet Hospital as a high school volunteer. She graduated from UC Davis Veterinary School in 1998 and went on to complete a small animal internship at the University of Pennsylvania. She returned to the Bay Area in 2004 and joined our Doctor Team at that time. Dr. Casey loves all aspects of private practice, especially the relationships she builds with pets and their families over time and through medical challenges. She particularly enjoys surgery and emergency medicine. She is known for her compassion and extraordinary bed-side manner. Dr. Casey lives in Berkeley with her husband and three sons. She also has a cat named Lola, a Boston Terrier named Fred, and a mixed breed dog named Otis. Her hobbies include running, skiing, cooking, playing with her children, and occasionally attempting to garden.
