Ronna Kabler, DVM, joined Metro Cat in October 2022. Dr. Ronna is a 1986 graduate of Tufts University School of Veterinary Medicine. She completed an internship in Zoological and Small Animal Medicine and Surgery at Colorado State University in 1988.
Dr. Ronna's expansive career includes rural and urban small animal general practice, emergency medicine and surgery, holistic medicine, house call practice and shelter medicine. This long path ultimately led to her dream of being able to focus on cats at Metro Cat. Special interests include feline medicine, nutrition, and integrative care. Dr Ronna works with a local kitty rescue, Stray Pets in Need.
Dr. Ronna lives with her lovely rescue cat from Puerto Rico, Princess Leia. Her two grand kitties are with her daughter, Kyra, who works as an artist in San Francisco.
When Dr. Ronna is not immersed in all things feline, she loves to visit with her daughter, hike, travel, write, ride horses, and is a figure skating super fan.
