Shannon started her career with animals 8 years ago working at an animal shelter in western Massachusetts, although her passion for animals (especially cats) started long before then. She graduated in 2014 from the University of Massachusetts Amherst and received a Bachelor of Science in Animal Science. In 2016, she moved to Boston and joined the VCA team. She started as a Client Service Representative and was quickly promoted to Client Service Supervisor in 2017. In 2022, she became the Hospital Manager.

Shannon lives in Brighton with Mike (her fiancé) and her two cats (an orange and white tabby named Edmund and a tortoiseshell named Shelly). In her free time, she enjoys going out to see live music, listening to records, playing video games, and spending time with her family.
