Dr. Asgar received her undergraduate degree from Swarthmore College in Pennsylvania and went on to earn her Doctorate of Veterinary Medicine from Cornell University in 2007. Prior to joining VCA Old Tappan Veterinary Hospital in 2008, Dr. Asgar completed an internship in small animal medicine and surgery at the Oradell Animal Hospital in Paramus, NJ.

Dr. Asgar considers OTV to be her veterinary home, as it is the first place she worked as an assistant prior to attending vet school. She is a proud mother of three children and enjoys spending time with her family, dancing, reading, and cooking. She currently shares her home with her rescue dog, Maisie.
