Julie graduated from Kutztown University in 2018 with a bachelor's degree in Communications and Public Relations. Her love for animals began at a young age, whether it was chasing chipmunks around at the lake to cuddling her grandparent's schnauzers. Julie worked at Outragehisss Pets in Chestnut Ridge from 2012 to 2019, working with exotics as an animal caretaker and educational program exhibitor. Her veterinary career began in 2014 at Banfield Pet Hospital as a client service coordinator, where she became a veterinary assistant shortly after. She left Banfield as a shift lead after meeting the compassionate and caring doctors and staff and VCA Old Tappan Veterinary Hospital.

Julie is eager to learn more and advance in her veterinary career, with the goal of eventually becoming a licensed veterinary technician. In her free time, Julie can be found cuddling and playing with her cats or pet sitting for friends and family. Her and her cat Niko love to spend time hiking and exploring the outdoors.
