Hospital Manager
Danielle was born and raised in Hong Kong and has been around all sorts of animals as she worked with them her whole life. She moved to California in 2016 for college and graduated from the University of California, Davis, with a Bachelor's in Animal Science in 2020. After graduation, Danielle started as a veterinary assistant in private practice, working her way up as the Hospital Manager. On the side, she worked as a part-time in-home dog trainer, where she worked specifically with fearful and reactive dogs.
Danielle is currently working on her Master's in Applied Animal Behavior and Welfare at Virginia Tech, and she plans to become a Certified Animal Behaviorist. With family living closer to the Bay Area, she decided to relocate and join the VCA Palo Alto team as the Hospital Manager. She hopes to use her skillset to enhance the hospital environment and build long-lasting relationships with clients and their fur babies.
She does not have any pets but frequently fosters with the SF SPCA. When she is not at the hospital, you can often find her doing exciting activities like indoor bouldering or trying new local food spots.
