Dr. Baxter was born in Scotland and spent her childhood in Tunisia and then Houston, Texas. She moved to Fort Collins, Colorado, to attend Colorado State University where she received a BSc in Animal Science. With family ties in Scotland, she chose to attend the Royal School of Veterinary Studies in Edinburgh, where she received her BVM&S degree. She is a member of the Royal College of Veterinary Surgeons MRCVS as well as the AVMA. Dr. Baxter has two dogs, Led Zeppelin, a Border Collie, and Kaiser, a mixed breed, who have traveled around the world with her. She loves traveling, hiking, and skiing, and spends her free time exploring new places with the dogs. Dr. Baxter is interested in dermatology and internal medicine.
