Dr. Blum (plum with a “b”) was raised on a small horse farm with numerous barn cats and dogs in central Ohio. She received her Doctor of Veterinary Medicine from The Ohio State University in 2002 and also became certified in canine rehabilitation in 2009. The call of the mountains brought her to Salt Lake City immediately following graduation, where she started and has continued to work until recently with the Central Valley Group of hospitals.

Her professional interests in addition to rehab medicine include dentistry, soft tissue surgery, pain management, and internal medicine.

Dr. Blum is excited to be able to work closer to her home in Silver Creek. Besides keeping up with her two kids and husband, Otto, she enjoys riding her crazy horse named Dexter and running with her exuberant Goldendoodle. Her other interests include gardening, skiing, hiking, reading, and tending to her miniature horse named Sprinkles, two cats, two bulldogs, and her chickens.
