Dr. Willie was born in Kalamazoo, Michigan, a small Midwestern city between Chicago and Detroit. It was the perfect environment to instill the core values of hard work, honesty and helping others that develops a trusted veterinarian. He graduated with honors from the University of Michigan and in the top 10% of the University of Florida's College of Veterinarian Medicine. Dr. Willie has practiced in South Florida since 1992 both as an associate veterinarian and business owner. He has cared for thousands of local pets, establishing lifelong relationships with their owners. Dr. Willie has worked directly with Friends Of Greyhounds (FOG), and was personally involved in the spaying and neutering of over 600 retired "racers" to be rescued and adopted across the United States. He enjoys veterinary dentistry, surgery as well as challenging internal medicine cases. Dr. Willie's reputation is stellar with all the local veterinary specialists.
He is currently living in Margate with his wife Jennifer, daughter Erin and son Brayden. Their four legged family consists of Dexter a 10 year old Boston Terrier and Maverick a Cavalier King Charles puppy. You can find Dr. Willie working out at a local gym, spending time with his family at the beach, and now serving you and your pets at VCA Promenade.
