Prior to joining SAH in 2021, Jennifer graduated from Rochester Institute of Technology with a BS in Biotechnology and spent several years in academic research working as a Senior Research Associate. After deciding it was time to leave the lab bench, she went back to school for her AAS in Veterinary Technology and graduated magna cum laude from Medaille College in 2020. Jenn grew up in Wayland, NY, surrounded by cats and dogs and occasionally ducks, a rabbit and guinea pig. She even tried to rescue a baby rabbit and chipmunk or two. She knew early on that she wanted to work in a science field, and her first career goal was to be a marine biologist working with large sea mammals. Once she moved away from home, she went on to have her own pets (1 dog and 2 cats) who were spoiled with love and attention. When Jenn isn't at work helping our patients, she can be found cheering for her son's hockey team and her other son's football team. If she's not there, then she's at home with her husband being crafty, reading or watching tv documentaries.
