Dr. Iden is a native of Edmonton, Alberta, Canada. She received her BVMS from the University of Glasgow, after which she stayed on for over a year as a teaching assistant then instructor. For the next 10 years, Dr. Iden worked as a small animal veterinarian in both emergency and general practice in the Vancouver, BC, area. In 2022, Dr. Iden relocated to Massachusetts and completed a rotating internship in small animal medicine and surgery at Angell West and Angell Animal Medical Center. Wanting the best of both worlds, Dr. Iden accepted a position at VCA South Shore (Weymouth) Animal Hospital and VCA South Shore (Quincy) Animal Hospital in 2024 as part of the General Practice and Emergency and Critical Care teams.

Dr. Iden loves all aspects of preventive and emergency medicine and has a special interest in neurological and surgical emergencies.
