Dr. Lothery graduated from University of Illinois College of Veterinary Medicine in 2018. She was one of few recipients of the U.S. Army Health Professions Scholarship Program (HPSP) scholarship and served three years in the U.S. Army Individual Ready Reserves (IRR) and served four years active duty as a Veterinary Corps Officer immediately after graduating veterinary school. She was integral in providing care for Government-Owned Animals (primarily Military Working Dogs and US Border Patrol canines), protecting food safety on several military installations, and providing public health support. While she enjoyed her military service, after the birth of her two children, Dr. Lothery and her husband decided to settle down in Indiana closer to family. Dr. Lothery has a varied professional background including research, military service, public health, wildlife medicine, and small animal general practice. She is most interested in canine and feline dermatology, dentistry, and behavior. Dr. Lothery looks forward to providing the highest quality care to the people and pets of the Greenwood area!
