Dr. Emily Grant was born and raised in Monroe, MI. She graduated from St. George's University School of Medicine in 2013 with her Doctorate in Veterinary Medicine as well as a Master of Public Heath. She also did a clinical year at The Ohio State University. Dr. Emily Grant also has a BS in Zoology from Michigan State University. She joined the VCA SylvaniaVet team in 2020 and took on the role of medical director. Her passion within veterinary medicine is both soft tissue and orthopedic surgery.

When Dr. Grant is not working, she loves to spend time with her husband and three boys. She also enjoys DIY projects and crafting. Together as a family they have an Irish Wolfhound named Mac and a cat named Grey.
