Dr. Stephanie Cardillo (formerly Dr. Griesel) is a native Texan who grew up in the northwest Houston area. She attended Texas A&M University's College of Veterinary Medicine to receive both her Bachelor of Science degree in biomedical science and her Doctor of Veterinary Medicine degree. She joined VCA in 2008 and became a doctor in 2017. Dr. Cardillo has special interests in feline medicine and behavior, and preventative care.

She and her husband, AJ, share their home with a large black Labrador Retriever named Carl and their kitties: Spooky, Pepper, Daphne, Penny Lane, and Oliver. In her free time, Dr. Cardillo enjoys hiking, baking, reading, and spending time with her husband and family.
