Dr. Paradise received her Doctorate of Veterinary Medicine from Michigan State University in 2005. She then moved to the Bay Area in California for two years before relocating to Virginia. Joining the VCA family in January 2008 has allowed Dr. Paradise to pursue her goal of becoming a true advocate for her patients and their owners. She has been with VCA Annandale since September 2009. Her veterinary interests include a strong interest in feline medicine and geriatric medicine and pursuing hospice care.
Dr. Paradise and her husband share their home with their two cats (Nermal - a "saucy brat" and Bella - a "fatty") and their two children, Reese and Tate. During her free time she enjoys playing with her children, documentary television, reading, baking and trying to get some sleep.
"I became a veterinarian because I have always wanted to help people and the animals that they love. I love witnessing the bond that our clients have with their pets. I also love how the veterinary field is always changing and there are new developments in medicine. Another wonderful benefit to working at VCA Annandale Animal Hospital is the great team. We work hard and have fun at the same time. Each day is always different; just when you think you have seen it all, there is something to surprise you."
