Dr. Kostov is Doctor of Veterinary Medicine graduate from Washington State University. She is originally from Phoenix, Arizona, but has extensive family in Bulgaria. Visiting the countryside in Bulgaria is where Dr. Kostov found her love for animals and passion for their welfare. She earned her bachelor's degree in public and global health from the University of Arizona with the idea of becoming a public health veterinarian. Dr. Kostov's time at Washington State had other plans for her, as she found great interest in clinical reasoning and small animal orthopedic surgery. In her free time, Dr. Kostov loves playing basketball, embroidering, and entertaining her cat, Olive.
